Julia and David’s Wedding

The wedding season is well and truly upon us! Last bank holiday, M and I went to York for the wedding of David and Julia. It was held at the Hospitium, a 14th Century building set in York’s picturesque Museum Gardens, in the grounds of St Mary’s Abbey. After the ceremony we waited patiently outside for the stunning bride and handsome groom to appear. We then floated around taking in the scenery, catching up with relatives and friends, readily supplied with Pimm’s and canapĂ©s. The whole wedding had a whimsical, countryside theme with wild flowers and lace detail. It was truly wonderfully done. The wedding favours were an echo from David’s past as an RAF pilot… And how stunning was their cake?! It was also super moist and delicious when cut. I was also chuffed as I got to wear M’s birthday gift to me, this striking dress from Coast. Thank you so much for having us, Julia and David, we had such a wonderful time sharing in your beautiful day. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and wonderful memories. What a perfect start to your married life together! x
